Philanthropy Chair for Sigma Phi Omega Inc.
Our sorority's philanthropy is the prevention and awareness of domestic violence. Every semester philanthropy chair is in charge of hosting a week long event called S.A.F.E. Week which stands for Stop Abuse in a Family Environment. During this week, my co-chair and I host events at our Student Union to pass out flyers and collect donations for various non-profit organizations like Hope's Door and Genesis Women's Shelter. We also find speakers to educate students on campus about misconceptions surrounding Domestic Violence. Throughout the semester, we communicate with volunteer coordinators to set up opportunities for our sorority members to volunteer.

Vice President of Sigma Phi Omega Inc.
As Vice President of my sorority , my primary duty is to ensure unity and cohesiveness in the organization through tasks and events. I assist the President with running meetings that include our 36 active members each week. I help to oversee over 10 different officers' roles and keep them accountable in order to help meet objectives set earlier in the year. When internal problems arise, I work to solve the problem unbiased and objective manner. |
